Moonlight Lady

There's spark in the dark that has me drifting towards the moon. Dancing light just a ripple on the waves of open wound.

From the deep swim my feet to feel the flame on frozen skin.
Hands stoned forever thrown by a coward soaked in sin.

Shedding scars towards the stars to catch a glimpse of a dream.
Beating heart falls apart stitch by stitch along the seam.

Half ghost of golden dose from the glow that still remains.
Feeling color from a lover, in the clouds forgotten grey.

To the shallows swim my soul, breath of bright I've never seen.
From the dark shined a light, moonlight hope, still a dream.
