Child at Heart
I'm a child at soul. I sometimes feel I look upon the world as if it was a precious penny begging to be picked up off of a park bench.
I sometimes hear a song as if it were the searching serenity of an ice cream truck on a hot summer's slumber.
I sometimes feel the warmth of touch as if it were the root that grounds life and gives it reason to reach.
I sometimes believe when belief is barren.
I sometimes see when seeing is deceiving.
I sometimes am a child.
I sometimes have a heart.
I sometimes just want to be part.
